I’m absolutely loving the pictures we had taken last month while we were in Texas. We originally planned on taking the photos with my Dad’s red ’57 Chevy, but as luck (and old cars) would have it, it wouldn’t start on the day of the shoot and we couldn’t get it to the beach. I was so bummed and a little worried about how the pictures would turn out without it; but obviously my worries were pointless… they’re great! These are actually the first family pictures we’ve had taken by a professional photographer. We chose Iliasis Muniz, who does a lot of great work in South Texas. I had it done at Sammy’s Salon in Port Isabel by the lovely Jennifer Beck. She was so much fun to work with and I recommend her if you’re in the area. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was willing to try the pin-up look, but Jennifer did a great job. ????
