This week was pretty warm for January on South Padre Island. We enjoyed plenty of time at the beach and the park. Eva and Damian started music classes. Eva is learning piano and Damo the drums. Other than that, same ol same ol rhythm.
This week I finally got to surf again!!! It was the first time since I was about seven months pregnant. I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to catch a wave again (it’s this irrational fear I always have when I’m pregnant/post-partum), but I got a nice right, right off the bat. It felt…
A portrait-a-week of my kids in 2020: The kids are back at school this week but we still found plenty of time for fun. The beach was gorgeous this past Sunday- one of those hot Texas days in the middle of winter where the sun just feels extra good. We have definitely been feeling beach…

Eva had an amazing week for a two-year-old. We went on an outing to Maymont in Richmond, which I’ll write about another time. The highlight of our week, of course, was Halloween. It was Eva’s first time trick-or-treating and she’s obsessed now. I had to explain to her the next day why we couldn’t do…
