Another month has flown by, and it has been a busy one!
Here’s what you’ve been up to:
-trying to put clothes on
-putting long necklaces over your head when you get your hands on them (which is something I totally didn’t actively teach you)
-figuring out toddler puzzles (triangle goes in triangle hole, circle goes in circle hole, etc.)
-venturing into the ocean on your own (supervised, of course)
-having telephone “conversations”
-going on your first Safari
-still a lot of blowing kisses
-still spinning around in circles
-still carrying around a little purse or basket to collect objects
-still climbing EVERYTHING and trying to give your mommy a heart attack
-still pointing to my nariz, ojos, and orejas (but you haven’t been pointing to your own as much this month for some reason)
You still only have four bottom teeth, but you have a few teeth on either side that we can sort of see coming through the gums. Your top teeth seem to FINALLY be starting to make an appearance.
You’ve started to do this thing where you roll your ankles in circles and massage your feet together as you fall asleep. This is EXACTLY what I’ve always done for as long as I can remember. Who knew it was genetic?
You look for your bellybutton when we say “bellybutton” and you lift up other people’s shirts looking for their bellybuttons as well.
You no longer try to eat other people’s shoes when you find them; instead, you try to put them on! So adorable, but you still don’t like wearing your own.

-(trying to say) gentle
You are getting very good at repeating syllables, and have repeated a few other words but I don’t think you know them well enough to claim them yet.
You are very adventurous and love running around outside. You try to climb trees and chase birds around. You love smelling flowers and you even give them kisses. Your favorite place is still the beach, and you are just so comfortable in the ocean, which I love.
Every month you become more and more fun to hang out with. You’re the sweetest baby in the entire world. Thank you for being mine.
