On Thursday we explored Manhattan with the family. We hopped on one of those double decker busses and took a ride through downtown and then stopped at the World Trade Center memorial. We ate some pizza, did some shopping, and had enjoyed the change of scenery. The big city almost didn’t seem real to us.

Thanksgiving

We were at The Jetties for our weekly free surfing lessons with SurfVive.Org when a huuuuuge storm crept up on us. The sky turned black and thunder roared. We quickly packed up and headed out, but not before capturing some fun pics!

Texas

Last week the swell from Hurricane Michael traveled hundreds of miles across the Gulf and exploded into the narrow ship channel on the south side of our little sandbar. The wave rarely breaks, so it’s always a treat when it does.
