The last stop on our road trip was New Orleans, Louisiana. We stayed at a hotel in the French Quarter, and spent the afternoon walking around, eating Cajun food and beignets, listening to music, and seeing what makes this City so very unique.

On Thursday we explored Manhattan with the family. We hopped on one of those double decker busses and took a ride through downtown and then stopped at the World Trade Center memorial. We ate some pizza, did some shopping, and had enjoyed the change of scenery. The big city almost didn’t seem real to us.
