Eva just loves being around her baby brother, and he loves being around her. I can’t wait until he’s old enough for them to actually play together.
The other day Eva was busy drawing in her little notepad when she came to me and said, “Look, Mommy! Letter A!” Sure enough, she had drawn what looks like the letter A, without any references or anything. I don’t know if she randomly drew something and decided it looked like the letter A, or if she intentionally drew the letter A. But I asked her to draw me another letter and she drew these little zig-zags and called it “W.”Pretty good! I think we’re going to have to work on writing soon.
This week Damian did not do so well in the sleeping department. Except for a couple of nights, he was up every two hours again. I think he was going through a growth spurt. He seems to be happy, though. He smiles and is starting to make laughing noises. By the end of the week his baby acne cleared up thanks to California Baby Calendula Cream (and Dena who suggested it!). He also took his first visit to Washington D.C.. He stayed in the Ergo most of the time, and I could tell he wished he could be facing the other way to look around. Soon enough, little man.
